BabyScapes Art – Jane’s Current Project
Art – Seven BabyScapes which span the miraculous process of human development from 22 days to 9 months are interpreted through a bas-relief sculpture technique developed by the artist.
Artist’s Statement
The goal in my art making is to convey God’s loving presence through His creations in nature and in human lives. The themes expressed in these works can be viewed on an aesthetic level as well as an emotional level. I desire to encourage everyone to tap into your creative abilities and let go of fear. Allow yourself to enjoy the outward creative expression that comes from within you and honor it. Steve Turner, Christian artist and writer, states that “(Art) is not something separate from life, but something at the heart of life which celebrates the fact that we are creator children of a creator God.”
